Well said everyone. Becky:) maybe you should read the posts carefully here, as a lot of people try to explain why you are better off posting in normal English.
You'll see it is not about any of us disliking you, or hating your posts, or that we want you to stop posting. Look at writing in normal English as an opportunity to connect with people around the globe, of different ages, and back grounds. To respect people to write in a language as was taught to people in North-America, England and around the globe. Don't say you'll try to do better, when you are not intending to do so. Assuming that your parents and your teachers taught you proper English instead of IM speak, IM is your second language and requires more effort then normal English. I have a hunch that you post as much as you do, and in the language that you do, is because you want to be liked, be part of a community, and entertain others. IM speak is obviously not the most effective way to achieve that. I do think however, that instead of trying to do better, just to do better will give you a lot of applause and friends from around the world if you keep being your happy, smart, and cheery self.
