Regis is hosting America's Got Talent, which is produced by Simon Cowell...But I have not heard any rumors of this sort in regards to American Idol. My best friend is affectionately refered to as the Television Queen, so if there were legitimate rumors, I'm sure I'd have heard them.
I do know that there was some talk of Ryan maybe not being on the show because he gets along ratherly poorly with Simon and Paula, but I've heard nothing concrete on that subject. As far as I know, Ryan will be on the next American Idol.

On that note, the weapon of choice in that celebrity deathmatch should really be fishsticks. What a way to go.

actually throw the monkey into the Celeb. Death Match as well. Admittedly all that screaming and throwing of faeces would be a bit classless, but maybe if they asked nicely... Ryan wouldn't :s
