I know we already have the Sleuths Bookshelf, but people there talk about their general tastes, what books they liked in childhood etc. I'd like all of us to share with others what we are reading now, do we like it or not and to recommend the books we like. Possibly we could have a similar thread for movies.

Greayling, *Shadow of the Wind*! So much that I passed it onto Ben, who then passed it onto a friend of ours and so on...

I've just finished the penultimate book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series. I will finish that series as soon as I finish a little book that is not worth mentioning!

What do i have to say to that matter, the Frost series, for detective like stories, but i am actually reading Musashi, and its been forever, so it seems, they are two books with 900 pages each, they are great but just to carry the thing makes me lasy.....

That is yet another good thing about eBooks.

I carry just over 200+ in my pocket with me at all times.

I am currently reading Sourcery, the 5th in the Disc World Series by Terry Pratchett. Rincewind and Luggage are in it and I adore Luggage.

eBooks are fantastic, I love reading them in the bath... or snuggling up with them on a rainy afternoon in bed with a cuppa ;)

Sunny, so great to hear you liked "Shadow of the Wind" too. It's one of those books where I'm aching to talk to everyone about my suspicions and concerns, atmospheric passages and favourite characters. I'm tempted to ask you a million questions, just as I'm constantly tempted to flip ahead to make sure this and that character is still around, but I also know it would ruin the thrill of the surprise, so I'll just stay in suspense :D

LED, I read "Lords and Ladies" (think it's the 14th in the series) many years ago, and strangely enough it's still the only one of Pratchett's books that I've read despite the fact that I absolutely loved it and have reread it more times than I can count :D

Just started "Wicked: Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West" by Greogry Maguire. It's the book the musical Wicked is based on. It's his first - I've read all of his others, but for some strange reason have come to this last.

Fahrenheit 451-Ray Bradburry. Currently, I'm wondering if I'm ever going to get through chapter 1. It's good though.
The Deadly Curse of Toco-Rey-Frank Peretti. Second time reading this. It's awesome.
The Case of the Halloween Ghosts-John R. Erickson. Hilarious book.
Legend of Burning Water-Sigmund Brouwer. Awesome book, just like everything else by Sigmund Brouwer.
