Hello all, I just joined today. I've been looking through the newbie threads and the FAQs to see if my question has been answered.

I can't find anything relating to my question, but if there is- I apologise.

I have two questions to ask:

1. I never got the option to choose a background (eg "Disgruntled Doctor") when I signed up. Is that normal? I tried to create a couple of alternate accounts to make sure I didn't miss anything, but the only things I got to choose were my archetype and what I wanted to spend my skills on.

So I don't have a background now. Is there a way I can possibly choose one now that I have already created an account?

2. I read somewhere in these forums that a character archetype could possibly be changed. Is that true?

1. If you choose the easy method of making a detective, you are given background options. Each background comes with a specific set of skills and an archtype, and these are what you start with as opposed to selecting your own. Choosing advanced means you get to select the starting skills you want to purchase, but you have no background option.

2. As far as I know there is no way to change this...I remember reading somewhere that it might have happened on a couple VERY rare occasions, but I might have imagined even that. So, again, as far as I know it can't be changed.
