I've always been fascinated by and curious about Brazil. Many times I've imagined changing my whole life plan, throwing caution to the wind, and just go there and see what happens. I read somewhere that there are helicopter taxis in Brazil, is that true?! Because that would be awesome! Wish we had that here in Egypt, traffic here could be a nightmare most of the time.

I'm definitely feeling some old-school in my travels. Rome would be nice, plus the old castles of Ireland/Scotland.
Barring that, poolside in Cancun. I'm a sucker for all-inclusive.

Rack up another vote for someplace warm!
I've always wanted to go to Hawaii, so thats my big dream trip. Someday, I hope they make a valium large enough to get me through the plane trip.

oooh, hawaii. That would be awesome. I could SO get into the whole grass-skirt thing, and c'mon...poy as far as the eye can see.
lol, eventually valium will be available in a full-body leotard, m'dear. It'll be a merge between them and Danskin. Welcome to the Valskin years.

Every possible place on the planet especially the extremes. Antartica, the Himalaya, the Sahara. Every imaginable spot on the face of this earth.

I used to be like that too. Was all for the authentic, the "get to know the real people", avoid the traps, etc.
Well, posh on that. Bring on the free drinks, shrimp cocktails, and cabana boys I say.

Anywhere where you can swim up to the in-pool bar is fine by me.

Yay Secret Squirrel! I'll be your personal tour guide too if you come visit :)
As for the beaches, there's Alexandria (Mediterranean Sea), and Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada (Red Sea). You can go snorkling, take diving lessons, and go on safaris. And you can choose the lifestyle: luxurious hotels or camping in the desert with the bedouins.
(hoping this is enough to have Sleuthcon II in Egypt)
