It's gonna cost me about 7000 or so to have my record cleared, and I only have 2000 on me. What do I do? Do I ignore the stain on my record completely?

If not, what do you suggest for me to earn money without upping my experience points much to hike the costs?

Lastly, if there's a twist in the mystery where I say "I'm pretty sure he's not the killer" to a guy being taken away by cuffs, does that mean he's not going to be the killer, or is he still a suspect?

Okay, the big question is one stain or two on your record. One isn't a big deal, but can two be very dangerous.

My best advice would be to solve cases at a level where you can generally solve them most of the time, and quit any that you are not 100% sure on, check and double check...Don't guess. You should have the money pretty quickly.

I'm leery to comment on your last question...I'd say that he is still a suspect, but from my own experience I wouldn't put him too high on the list. Maybe someone else will have a more definitive answer.

Oh sorry. The twists/cutaway scenes in New York are just (what did I read the other day) 'for flavour'. So don't let them influence you. Just go on the evidence rules for solving cases. (Se Welcome Newbies thread in this section)
