Hey all! Does anyone, like me, get so lazy when they have to check an alibi at the banker, priest, or bartender? Or when trying to get PE, when you first ask for analysis, then choose a name, then ask another question, and so on ...? I think it would make the game a lot faster if there were less links. Like instead of asking another question, then asking again for an analysis, maybe there can be an option that says: ask the same question again, ... or something.

And more advice on skills in the skill help would be appreciated, like what is best to buy at the beginning or later on in the game, which skills would be useless for certain archetypes. JOC is still killing me! ... Unless that limits the players' desire to experiment on their own.

Oh, and also, after researching and finding out that a person is innocent, why isn't the option of asking him/her for an alibi taken out, like in lock picking. So many times I forget that I researched the person and ask anyway! Also to decrease the links, maybe there can be the option to research each person when we visit them.

I know, I'm a lazy detective! How sad lol

I actually don't mind all the clicking of links. It makes it more real...like, in real life, a detective would have to really do all that leg work so....I think it's fine just as it is :)

I definately agree. To take away the links would harm the game. You would lose the aspect of doing the legwork like stated above. Without that, the game wouldn't be worth playing.

I feel for you on the researched alibi and then accidently clicking on ask for alibi. Oh the horror of wasting a perfectly good question like that. Oh I can kick myself for the many times i've done it and will do it again. lol.

Hmm I feel I have been misunderstood. It's not the clicking on names that bothers me, removing that would be removing the whole elimination process! What I meant was at least 2 clicks could be taken out. Like I said, first we go to the tailor for example, ask for help in analysis, then click on a name, then ask another question, then ask for analysis ... instead of clicking ask another question, then for analysis again, ... why can't we just have a link that says "ask again" for example. And instead of going back and forth from map to city hall (wherer you still have to click hall of records, then research your current case) each time i find a new suspect, there could be a link to research each one when we visit them.

There are indeed a number of clicks that could be reduced. If you have the banker or postal clerk as a contact, you know you always have to make that extra click. I agree that clicks are a necessary part of this game but if we can reduce them every here and there why not?

As said, lessening the "leg work" would take away from the game...no matter how u do it. So, I still, think it is fine as is :) (my opinion)

As far as accidentally asking a suspects alibi after you've already done research...take notes, it helps tremendously :)

I find that when checking evidence, especially if it is with my contact, the 'back' button on my browser works wonderfully. *grin*
