Lots of problems

I'm using Opera and I would like 2 know if this could be the source of ALL my problems : let's say I interview a suspect and ask him if he suspects anyone else. He/She says "yes" and tells their names. According to the tutorial, the new suspects should appear next to the old ones. But, in my case, they DON'T! And in many cases these suspects are the murderers. I can't solve the cases because I can't interview all the suspects and can't accuse them!!Furthermore, after I solve a case and try to start a new one the SAME suspects appear, with the same names and they never change; I've tried quitting a case and it just doesn't work...I've pushed that link a million times and it always directs me to the same page...

Not being very familiar with Opera, I will hazard a guess that it has something to do with the way your browser chooses the page to load when you click on a link. It could be automatically using the oldest page rather than the newest. You might try to reset it to always use the 'newest' page.
I had a similar, though not nearly so severe (and only occasional) problem with my firefox browser. The above was Ben's recommendation for fixing it.

I think Opera uses the phrase "always get newest page" with the alternative being "use cached copy (faster browsing)".

Rhie is correct that your browser is just using a cached copy rather than getting a new page. This can also happen if you are using a 'web accelerator' such as Googles. Those store web pages to refresh things faster, but do not always provide the most up to date version of the page.

Next time you have such a problem (with any browser, not just Opera), try Ctrl+F5 - when the cause is cashed data it usually helps.

I haven't yet hooked up the system I have that uses Opera, so I would be interested to know if this corrects your problem or if you found another solution. :)
