Hi... I'm new and sort of just looking for friends. I joined Slueth yesterday... solved my second case this morning... but I don't really know anybody here. Ummmmm.... sorta boring but I don't really know what to say. I guess I'd be really happy if some friendly, kind soul out there posted back...

Welcome to Sleuth Callidy, pull up a chair and solve a bunch of cases with us.

One thing you will find is that if you subscribe you will have the opportunity to join an agency and work together with other detectives. The teamwork can be a lot of fun.

Hi, Callidy! Welcome! Subscribing is as simple as sending a check or money order to the address given on the City Hall page under 'subscribing' or paying by Paypal. The cost is pretty minimal, all things considered. There are 3 cost tiers, so you can pay monthly, every 3 months or once per year.

Don't worry about having experience. That's what we're here to help you with. There are many people here who will be happy to answer your questions and help you with advice on 'growing' your detective. There is also the Welcome Newbies thread, which is FULL of information. :)

As for joining an agency, that really is the best part and can only be done if you're subscribed. You get to join a team of players that work together on treasure hunts and post on the agency boards together. We also role-play and create stories for our detectives to participate in. We work cases (10 per day) and help our agencies grow, and many of us also stay in contact with each other through IM or PM (instant messenger such as MSN, or private message). We do have a lot of fun.

Yeah... I probably won't be subsribing, seeing how I'm broke and won't be on here all that much... oh well...
Yeah, the Welcome Newbies thread is pretty useful, and I'll probably need the help...

Welcome Callidy!! :o) When you do get some money up ($5.50 for just one month), you will be sunk into the addiction even more!! lol

If ever you need any help whatsoever, just ask away! Everyone is very helpful, and willing to teach you the ropes :o)
