Very Shady....

Ben. I'm going to voice this now and see if anyone else agrees with me. I feel that it is VERY shady that Heaven's Gate Det. Agency won the last treasure hunt. The character "intra", (not ".intra" or "intra.",) seems to have joined their agency long enough to have gained the treasure, and then retired. Now, while I don't mind an agency getting a treasure, I DO mind when it looks like there was quite a bit of suspicious play around the gaining of it. I don't know whether the current directors of the HGDA made up new characters, paid for them, and then were trying to get rid of the evidence? Or if there were some "mercenary" character out there, who just picks random names out and solves cases for favors for a random reason. However, I must say I'm very displeased with this occurence. I don't know how much I can really do here other than to voice myself.

Besides, it's silly to get so upset about one person using two characters in an agency. If you've never done this, then I can promise you it is a lot of hard work, and almost not worth the effort. Before I brought goldfinger in to Lone Wolf Agency, I subscribed her only for the sole purpose of helping Chicago Agency out, when we didn't have enough help with threads, or lacked a Tailor, however, when a tailor came in, and I left, and since I didn't have any help, or a Tailor contact period, I used her and still use her to check everyones threads, however, her password is on our private message board so that everyone can use her as needed. The eight cases goldfinger gets, is divided amoung each detective there, which equals to being given free cases from any other agent, like it was in Chicago, when they didn't have time to solve them.

Also, since trying to use goldfinger to check cases, I rarely get to solve cases for Daru. It is extremely difficult to jump back and forth from one character to the other to check cases, so that is why all agents is welcome to use goldfinger's tailor contact so they can check threads, & help keep cases processed. Lately I have opened goldfinger's cases, worked them, then gave them to the other agents to help them build their experience points. Anyway, my spouse will continue letting everyone use goldfinger to check threads until we find a tailor, at which time the password will be changed.

Now concerning huge experience points by agents that owns an agency in a short period of time, I am one of those people that recently opened Lone Wolf Detective Agency, and has well over one million in experience points. These points were not made in a few days, in fact, I when I left Chicago Detective agency I had almost reached the one million mark. When I joined Chicago three months ago, two brillant and wonderful agents, Greyling, and DL, took me under their wings and told me what I was doing wrong and taught me how champions win.If it hadn't of been for them I wouldn't have the experience points I do presently. During my three months stay with them, I worked every day for endless hours solving my eight cases, two favors, plus any EXTRA FREE CASES they let me have. Which is the same difference in Goldfinger giving her cases to the agents in our agency. Anyway, when I joined I was solving the easy cases, but once I caught on, within a little over a week, I went from solving the easy ones, to the ridiciously hard cases. I'm praying that we'll get the agents we need to help cut down on my work load, although I'm not complaining, because I love helping others out.

I also have two people in the same house, on the same computer, that like to play this game, (my boy) and I. I have two agents, and he had one, but, since we can only have two agents per computer, he has not been able to access his agent! This is disappointing to him, esspecially since he had just convinced me to let him subscribe! Ben, please remove this restriction I know you were trying to make it more far, but I really don't think this is the answer!

Or you could just retire your own second detective and let your boyfriend play his character instead ;)

I actually think it's more than fair only to allow 2 subscribed detectives per actual person/computer/account. In my opinion everyone should only be allowed to subscribe 1, and then those, who still wanted more cases to solve, could have as many unsubscribed detectives as they cared to remember the names of - or alternatively players could be allowed to subscribe more than 1 but only be able to have 1 detective per computer within a single agency.

There are several online games that only allow people to create 1 character per account/IP address/computer/person, and only if given explicit permission is multiplaying allowed followed by restrictions on the interaction of these characters.

I do sympathize with the room mates and families who want to work together, but I also think there's been an inflation in doubles (and what have you) around here - and all things being equal having several subscribed detectives does create an imbalance, especially in a game where the outcome of the main thing that people work together on can be affected by the number of characters that a single person has.

And I apologize beforehand if by "boy" you meant "son" and not "boyfriend" :)
