Witness killed for no reason?

Ok. Every time when a suspect was found killed I assumed, that he actually new who the right killer was and this killer was the one, that killed that witness.
Today on a really hard case, a witness was killed, although she didn't have any information about the real murderer! So why that kind of witness should be killed??? Or is it some kind of a trick to make things more complicated?

You are just trying to make things more complicated than needed. :)

Follow the formulas for guilt, (found in the "Welcome Newbies" thread) and don't try to read too much into story lines. They are for fun, flavor, entertainment.

Dead people are good. One less person to elminate from your list of possible murderers. :)

hmm. thanks.

I know I don't have to read the lines to solve cases, but that kind of event like killing a witness in the middle of investigation doesn't look like a neglectable fact...

I was totally sure that it has it's logic - killer killing a witness who knows too much. I thought about it naturally. At least in my opinion it should be that way.

Soom, like many other aspects of the game, the possibility of a suspect being killed is random. Like cmf said, don't worry about it too much. Who knows, maybe the killer in question always intended on a double homicide and it has nothing to do with covering up evidence ;)

Well dead people are good SOMETIMES. I've had a few instances of where my last hope for WE(who had a valid alibi) died before I could ask about their suspicions.
