I noticed that in certain twists like the one where someone was taken away in handcuffs and the one where you have taken a liking to one of the suspects, the person mentioned in the twist is always innocent in the end. Well, what I want to know is does this always stand true? If the person is guaranteed to be innocent, then it will be quite a few less questions I need to waste trying to find the evidence pointing to the criminal.

The twists that you mention dont really mean anything. It won't always stand true, that the person mentioned in the twist, will be innocent.

The only twist that means something are the faction twists. ;)

Hmm.... is that so.... looks like I've just been lucky then. Lol. The last few cases with these twists, I just eliminated them as suspects and focused on others. Worked well for me at those times. Lol. Looks like I have to keep them on the suspects list then. Anyway, thanks for answering.
