How does the skill 'research' (smarts) help? I have bought it and am regretting as it has no apparent effect, so I thought I would ask you.

This is one of my favorite skills...Do not regret purchasing it.

To use research, go to City Hall, then Hall of Records (under the picture), then click on Research Your Current Case...One suspect without a valid alibi will be cleared.
