Wouldn't it be better if we can use all the skills we have to convince the suspects or witnesses to answer more questions? For example, if I cannot interrogate a suspect to answer more questions, I can still use my ability of sweet talking, etc. What do you think?

Not only that, once you lose someone, you usually lose them for good. If say you push someone too far by interrogation, they're likely to slam the door in your face, no matter how much you plead.
