It's a little difficult to come up with particular advice on that case without knowing more details like which case level, how many suspects you've found, what their alibis are, who you've checked evidence on, which kind of evidence you've found, and things like that :)
However, if you're very very stuck and no one else is talking you can either quit the case (better say that this is recommended by the majority before someone wants my hide for suggesting the next option) or if you feel quite confident that you know who did it, take a chance and accuse, but be aware you might not be right in which case you'll have to make sure to get your record cleared before getting a third false :)
As for the unidentified handwriting, I'm afraid that if you haven't been able to get a match for the handwriting and the banker won't answer anymore questions, then the only way to get it analyzed is by subscribing and joining an agency where someone with a banker contact will be able to help you out :)
