Question About Subscribing

Okay, so after a month I have finally bitten the bullet and will be sending in the money for my one year subscription tomorrow.

The main reason, I waited so long to do so was because I'm insanely paranoid about purchasing anything online and I don't like paypal. So, I'm doing it the old fashioned way through the mail LOL!!!

Anyway, I'm just wondering from anyone else who has purchased their subscription this way about how long does it take to see a change in your subscription status. I know it will take a couple of days for the pony express to get to Seattle, but upon receiving the money does your subscription status immediately change or is there a bit of a delay? Like I said I'm paranoid :)

Thanks in advance to anyone in the know.

Serena

Yay - another one succumbs to the addtion of Sleuth - hehehe ;D

I sent mine from Europe as well, but cash (and it is pretty nervewrecking sitting there waiting for it to get there, hoping no one pinches it on its way - yep, I can relate to the paranoid feeling completely - *lol*), and the first time it took 7 or 8 days and the second time it took 5. I think Ben changed the subscription status when he got home in the evening, and I think he might even have sent a PM to let me know he had changed it :)

Thanks both of you...I'm in the states so I guess that should knock a few days off the time *crosses fingers*

And yes, another one bites the dust and admits they are hopelessly addicted hehe

From my experience, it takes about up to 5 days to get mail from one coast to another within the US.
