I wonder if the price of the gear can be included in the popup when i look at the gear in the detective?

without having to go to the shop to see what it's worth, does this make sense???

I think it's a nice idea, but it might be a little difficult to implement, because the price of the some gear varies.

Items you get from favours, AIs, and that you can buy at the detective shop come at one fixed price (although they probably cost more if they're on sale at the fence behind Lucy's), but the price they're said to be worth and that you'll have to pay to get them is still higher than what they sell at, so the question is which price should be shown on the pop-up.

And then there're the items from the various factions, where the price becomes cheaper the more they like you, but where it still sells at a much lower price than what you had to pay for it. Again the problem would be which price would be listed on the pop-up, because even if it would perhaps be most "regular" to put the price it sells at, it might also get a little confusing if people then got the impression that that price equalled what they would have to pay for it if they wanted to buy it :)

(oh, and just going to switch this to Sleuth Talk)

Perhaps rather than a price listed a spot saying where it came from?

AI case reward, Favor reward, Lucy's, etc. As greyling noted the actual price is rather hard to pin down but if someone knew where it came from they coudl attempt to get it that way.

(Just going give this a gentle bump back to page 1 since I told Michal she could now find it in Sleuth Talk instead)
