hey there guys... i have small question for you.

if you were to choose between the shady character's two offer (compact travel kit and clear all false accusations for half the price), which is your pick then?

by the way, if ever i will take the compact travel kit, do i need to bring it with me always to reduce the airtime in traveling?

thanks guys...

finally! Doomsayer Trilogy accomplished! =) hehehe

First half of your question was easy to answer as I wasn't in debt with Shady...

And yes, you have to carry the travelling kit to reduce the number of turns. This, of course, is only recommended while on a multi-city treasure hunt. Otherwise just store it away till it gets handy.

hey, about shady's offer of his services, will it be effective for one time only or it will be used everytime of the game?

if ever i will sell that compact travelling kit, how much will it cost?

Actually, the value of the kit is $500. But the sell price is $200.

so which do you think is the ideal choice? the kit or the offer of shady on his services?

How much do you owe Shady currently?

If someone was a new detective starting out, the travel kit is the most valuable. The savings in cases will more than pay off shady, but if you are up there in experience points and have a false on your record then it is better to choose the discount.

i dont have any false accusations... so does it mean that choosing the travel kit is more better?

With the travel kit you save 1 case per city traveled to, so $1,000 reward for an AI case times, traveling 4 times per week while hunting, you would make that much extra per week. Plus the chance to earn favors faster when doing the multi-city hunts. (with the extra case in the city you arrive in).

As long as you are careful about your Falses, my gut tells me take the travel kit. But you might want to talk it over with your director also. It is an option to get one or two of them into the locker and share them with other detectives.

Is the Shady character's offer valid for the next FA you make, or for any current FAs you already have? Just curious.

The offer is good for the next time you actually pay Shady whether your FA is recent or not. Also, as mentionned, it is a one time deal only. Once you've taken advantage of it that's it it' s over.
