..( i am a sub ) but how about a free trip to a city for a non-sub as
one of the rotating favors...at least to london where it only takes
two turns of the three they get for the day...they could spend some
time in london and see more of the game...maybe get a contact...and
then with growth be encouraged to subscribe ...

I think one of the reasons why people subscribe is because of curiousity as to what is in the other cities. Another big reason is to be able to travel at will and not be in NYC. Another big reason is to get skill points from factions in teh different cities. Etc etc.

I think allowing unsubbed to travel would take away a huge incentive to subscribe. And also makes the difference between what you get as a sub vs non sub smaller.

This site depends on the subscribers to continue to exist and be expanded.

Um, I thought shabu shabu was a dish.
A Cinese dish in fact.
And as there are no Japanese cities but there is Shanghai, I'd say shabu shabu means eat me. :D
Mmm, I love it. *misses shabu shabu*

One of the resons why people don't sub even if they want to is probably because they can't use PayPal. Well, that's my reason anyway.

Allowing others to travel would detract from the "allure" o fsubscribing. Therefore, I think it should be kept a "mystery" until someone's curiousity wins, and they subscribe.

pixy, help is available in massive overwhelming quantities on the welcome newbies thread in newbie faq.

I don't really care if newbies travel or not, but I know a good old fashioned burn when I see one.

Shabu shabu is indeed the name of a dish. Anthropologists speculate that its name might come from the sound made by swirling yummy tidbits in hot stock.

As an act of penitence, may I humbly suggest that when eating, you give more than what was asked for.

Irony...gets you every time.
