Runs into City Hall in a robe and her cup of coffee after just waking up.
"Where's the party?"
Noticing that she is either too early or too late, she decides to throw her own party for the Queen of Avatars, Sleuth Chief Jester, Moderator, Sleuth Chat Supreme Emperor (ress) and All-Round Great Gal, Nikkie.
She puts up strings of Fairy Lights everywhere around Town Hall and in the canals that run around City Hall for this great occasion she places floating candles.
Putting up tables all around three sides of a great space for dancing, she leaves one side for a LONNNGGGG GREEAAATT bar where all of Sleuth's Finest Bartenders can play. She sets up a stage for entertainment and issues invites to all in Sleuth.

Lady Emerald Devon hoped Postman Pat Zhi had sent out all the invites. Sometimes though these things got lost.
She turned up some music and made herself a drink while waiting for the guests and the very Special Amazing,Guest of Honour, the most Supreme and Awesome Nikkie!
She started making a drink for .....

Dusting off his coat, Alec enters the Lounge. Surprisingly enough, it's almost empty, but for an attractive female that from the look of things, set the entire party up by herself. Leaving the coat at the wardrobe, Alec walks towards what he can only assume is Lady Devon and bows his head to her.
"Lady Devon, I presume?" he says and continues, "Alec Trevelyan, at your service. Thank you kindly for your invitation. May I offer you a drink at the bar before the music starts?"

He entered the room walking slowy with his typical way-proudly and with honour he went near Lady Emerald and took his drink and said:
-"Nice to see you again Emerald"

Walks in, only to bump directly into Lady Emerald Devon, whom she's never met in person yet. Wondering why the Lady is still in her bathrobe for the fine occasion, she nonetheless wants to introduce herself.
"Hello there, Lady Emerald. It is so nice to finally meet you in person! Oh, and, uhm, did I misread the invite? I thought it was supposed to be a formal affair. I ran out and bought this lovely jacket just for the occasion."
Lady explains that she was just on her way to change so Lin decides to head on over to the bar and wait for a few more guests to arrive.

Shaking Sir Alec's hand Nicola told him:
-"It's honour to meet you too ,Sir."
Nicola said all the people around him:
-"Wet's have a drink at the bar."
And headed torwards the nearest bartender.

Greyling rushes in to see if the birthday girl has arrived or if there's still time to look for the present. Relieved she sees that she might still make it in time even though the schedule this day doesn't leave many extra minutes for the search.
"Hmm, there should be some kind of greeting from me in case I don't manage to find one," she mumbles to herself and pulls out a tape recorder:
"Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday dear Nikkie
Happy Birthday to you
And maaanyyyy moooooreee"
She then put the tape in an envelope, scribbles a quick note ("Tillykke med Fødselsdagen Nikkie, hope you have a most wonderful day :)"), and tells one of the bartenders to pass it on.
"Thanks for the invite," she shouts to Lady Ed as she rushes out the door again, "I'll try to pop in again later".
