I know many of you people, who like funny PI's, will love this sequel.

Made by Pinhead games, case called the Goat in the Grey Fedora.

This game is free!

I was wondering if anyone else played this game and possibly what aspects you might like to see incorporated into sleuth.

Chelsea, that was a cool game. The programming effort alone was impressive. However, in order to recreate the sophisticated visual noir level of Sleuth, it might as well be filmed.

The thing I liked most about it was the conversation audio part. It reminded me of an online game I knew of about 7 years ago called "PaulIsDead.com". It wasn't about the former Beatle but it was a mystery that had to be solved. It had static photo images of the suspects (I think they also floated around on the page but I could be wrong, it's been awhile) and the occasional photo image of a place or thing. There was no animation but the dialog more than made up for it. It's gone now and it left me before I was able to finish it. (I take it as a personal affront.) ;-)

What I'm getting at is another level that may be able to be achieved in Sleuth (besides all of the numerous requests for improvements and "nice to haves") could be sound. It takes a lot less effort and server space yet delivers a rich effect. I have been thinking about this since I started playing but I would never presume to suggest it. Not only because I'm not subbed but I'm sure the Sleuth Overlord has enough to do and has his own agenda.

I also want to take this time to compliment the creator(s) of Sleuth. IMHO it is executed beautifully. To a person who doesn't program, it is very easy to make suggestions of "improvements" but to a person who does program, it is impressive.

Bravo!

btw: where is the prequel?

Well, part 2 was infinitely better. It was more realistic in what had to be done in order to solve the case. Thanks for sharing this.
