please forgive me if this information is elsewhere, I have looked but to no avail:

"what time does the new day start"? GMT?

This is my first day playing (and I have subscribed already!) and am sitting waiting patiently for the new day to start! :P

The next day starts Midnight Mountain Standard Time which is -7 of GMT so around 7 AM there. Sometimes you have to account for the server being a few minutes slow.

The easy way to find the exact "Sleuth Time" is to go to City Hall and the time is displayed there.
