I've made a few updates to agency case files today. This only effects people who are members of an agency. Let me know what you think of these changes, and if you run into any problems relating to case files.

1) Favors can now be stored as private case files. Previously, you could not store favors at all. Now, they can be stored as private files.

2) You can now see whether or not your files are marked as private.

3) Detectives cannot open case files if their experience is not high enough to start that file on their own. So, a detective with less than 400 experience will not be allowed to open a "Really Hard" case file.

As far as change number 3, I really like the idea of removing the accuse option, but allowing newer players to help. I have been on only 8 days, and just joined an agency today. Since I cannot bring my contact to help with the harder cases, I feel totally useless to my agency.

I also don't think it is fair to have one agent start a ridiculously hard case to be solved by a newbie just to get experience. I like that I have earned every point I have! Through playing you build your experience, skills, and items.

I reference to Chronestrian's reply, I didn't really think about how it could be used to get favors... I guess that's because I'm still building up...

Change #3:

Let newer agents assist with the case but not solve them. They can use their contacts, feel useful, support the agency, but not get ahead unfairly that way.

Can't say that I like #3. I do all the cases in each level first and can't help someone out with a contact withing my agency with such a low experience. Oh well, not like I can do anything about it right.

I recently tried to store an active favor and received the message that favors could not be stored. Is this change in place yet?

it was changed back to where you couldnt since storing favours made hunts go to fast
