Changes To Agency Case Files

I've made a few updates to agency case files today. This only effects people who are members of an agency. Let me know what you think of these changes, and if you run into any problems relating to case files.

1) Favors can now be stored as private case files. Previously, you could not store favors at all. Now, they can be stored as private files.

2) You can now see whether or not your files are marked as private.

3) Detectives cannot open case files if their experience is not high enough to start that file on their own. So, a detective with less than 400 experience will not be allowed to open a "Really Hard" case file.

1 i like the idea of being able to hold your private cases. it helps out when a teammate needs your contacts info.

2 i like being able to see that because sometimes i forget to put it on, so but now i'll know if i did.

3 i like it, but don't at the same time. either way is fine by me!

1. Thats a great idea, I often wish I could file my favours.

2. another great idea, very usual

3 I agree with this one, but how allowing detectives with lower points to help out with contacts, but they cant accuse the killer, thus not allowing them solve the case and taking points and payment?

You idea for #3 is a fine one, indeed PRettyhaha, I wonder if that would be difficult for Ben to do?

I also agree with prettyhaha, and Orbitrux. It would make it so that we still can get help from those who are less experienced, but they would not be able to solve the case. I like the idea.

1) this is great and should help a lot in hunts!
2) I noticed and appreciated it a lot!
3) Not much difference for me - maybe it could be possible at the case's owner will (like, giving a case to somebody); for agencies that want to help a new member or build a new character back after a retirement
Anyway, thanks a lot Ben for those improvements!

1) Not entirely pro this decision, but it will be interesting to see how it works. Hopefully it will mean that more agencies will have a shot at the hunts, but I have my doubts about it for various reasons. Also I'm a bit concerned that this step may diminish the interaction among detectives within an agency, to me one of the main ideas of the agencies is to get people to talk, but on the other hand it might not affect this side of the game.

3) Good idea. Although newra's right that it will be more difficult for an agency to help rebuild a member's character in case of retirement, it will, however, put an effective stop to the cases where new characters have been handed ridiculously hard cases simply to force up their experience as quickly as possible neglecting the whole aspect of building up a character.

Oh, forgot to add to 3) that I also agree with Dungeon's point about possibly causing problems when someone with higher exp. needs help from a contact held by someone with lower exp.

I would like to see a #3 in reverse form: An agent cannot play cases a certain level below the level he/she has achieved (I do it, too!). Maybe no lower than 2 levels beneath current level?
