Is it possible to eventually be smart, charming, and tough all at the same time? I mean when you get the goodies from the town people and those things add to your qualities, if I'm very charming, will I eventually become tough too?

Um.. actually in the long run you don't need to gather all the skills.

I can solve AIs without Tough Skills. I think it's just nice to have them all eventually but you really don't NEED ALL the skills.

I suggest reading the Welcome Newbies post Sheila :)

To be honest, I read the Welcome Newbies post too and I didn't see how it was contradictory as to what I wrote above...

But by all means, Sheila, read that thread :)

I would say that having all the skills does make a difference. Solving cases is easier when you can be both charming and tough.

It is not something that a beginning detective should worry about. The Evidence Skills (Smart) and basic interview skills (either Charm or Tough) are where to start. Then add in some faction skills and compliment with the opposite interview skills.

For an advanced detective with the appropriate gear having all the skills makes solving cases much more doable.
