...perhaps subscribers could have a different color for their
name so that when you go thru the boards a neon green name
refers to a subscriber....one would not then have to pull up the
detective page to see if they are so or not then...

While I agree that the colors could be handy, I do think it would take away from the 'vintage' feel of the site. Bold would be good.

I call peuce. Nothing says vintage like neon peuce.

Ugh. "Puce" is the correct and only spelling of that lovely pink-meets-beef-curry shade. "Peuce" (thanks google) is apparently an island in the Romanian bit of the Danube river.

Which means that in fact it is I who is the oxymoron here. What can I say... no man is an island :)

Where it says 'status' it always says "active" (with a few "moderator" "admin" "editor" occasionally.) Well... it's that a tad obvious.. I mean we are active if we're on..
Why not put subbed or unsubbed there instead?

Actually Active currently means that you have logged in during the past 30 days.

But I think that this is a good idea. We can always go to the detectives page to see the last time they logged in. Changing Active/Inactive to Subscribed/Unsubcribed should be a fairly simple programing task.

*giggles* And if you're logged on at that time ... uh, I think you've logged in in the past 30 days ;). Hence, it being redundant.

But, to make myself clear I was talking about the City Hall Board where it shows whose logged in, not Detective Bios.

It pulls that information directly from your Detective Bio I am almost certain.
