color for subscribers

...perhaps subscribers could have a different color for their
name so that when you go thru the boards a neon green name
refers to a subscriber....one would not then have to pull up the
detective page to see if they are so or not then...

Rather than color I would suggest a different font size or simply making the names BOLD* for the color blind people of the world. It also removes the problem of a color pallette being available to subscribers.
*(the best approximation without html, I do not really want capital letters)

*giggles* I think everyone knows what bold means.
I like the idea of a rainbow Sleuth, it'd be fun. I like the idea of yellow and green though. It'd be like daffidols. Hmm, or red and yellow, I guess that would be like tulips.

You could always make the names bold and colored. This would allow those who are color-blind to be able to tell the difference and add some color to the message boards.

While I agree that the colors could be handy, I do think it would take away from the 'vintage' feel of the site. Bold would be good.

Ugh. "Puce" is the correct and only spelling of that lovely pink-meets-beef-curry shade. "Peuce" (thanks google) is apparently an island in the Romanian bit of the Danube river.
Which means that in fact it is I who is the oxymoron here. What can I say... no man is an island :)
