Logging off with agency gear...

Would it be possible to give directors (and perhaps officers) the ability to "commandeer" equipment from lower ranking members of one's agency? I'm sure many other agencies suffer from the same problem, when new agents take gear, log off with them, and then don't log in again to get your many PM's. You don't want to kick them out, because they're holding $10,000 in gear...

I know, I know: "What stops officers/directors from abusing this privilege to take gear that belongs to those agents" & "Agency equipment policies should be instilled in new agents." & "That's why we have the rookie to agent promotion privilege difference." & "That's why there's officer/director only tags"

However, no matter what agencies do, there still will be agents who take gear and then take a vacation. Perhaps if a "commandeering" feature was only given to directors?

Am I out on a limb here (which is quite possible) or is this a concern others have also?

This would be an internal agency issue, which is part of the game to me, that each agency has to choose to deal with in their own way, rules penalties, fines, firing are just a few ways an agency can choose to handle. Since every agency handles internal issues different if every agency was the same we might as well just be in one big agency!

LED gave the best solution but not all are willing to give up their password .

Most agencies make this clear up front (or at least should) on what the policy will be for Password sharing.

I have always recomended that at least one other player hold the password for a detective in case of emergencies or small problems like gear pop up.

Trust is a huge issue with password sharing. You have to know that when you give your password to someone they will not take it and do cases for you, or change it on you so you can not log back into your detective anymore.

Dixon this is a concern that every agency goes through in time. It is part of running a successful agency balancing the needs of the agency with each detectives right to privacy and to be in control of their detective.

No wait on second thought give them the boot!!!!I mean it is the Agencys locker and without being in an agency you can only have what you have on right. So does every agency charge for locker use and to store cases, not to mention help with those cases. Or how about the ability to go on THs another separate charge for that??
I know that all may sound funny but that is kind of my point to each agency their own. I am even thinking about charging Detectives a fee for resigning from agency or being kicked out!!HEHE

I've been in agencies where after you forget to change 3 times, you lose locker privleges for a week. :)
