Ok I think this might be a pretty cool idea. How about Once an alibi checks our as fake or real it gets put by the persons name so we don't have to write it down or go and look again after we bring all thw suspects out. Or you could make it so once you determine if someone is a suspect or not it goes into two different lists a fake alibi list or real alibi list. or even a third list if you can't determine weather that person is real or fake because they clam up on you. Or how about if you don't like any of thos two ideas the link to the fake persons name changes color if they are found out to be fake.

True, but don't you think that it doesn't require a whole TON of skill. Just a little bit of organization. So I guess it requires a little bit of skill. I do keep notes, but it would be easier that way.

I agree, it's not much skill, but then no element of solving a case has much skill in itself. Where do you draw the line in getting the detective to do the work and having the computer do all the work?

I guess there isn't a line. We wouldn't ben to make it too easy. We want it to require skill. Maybe automating notes isn't such an amazing idea. How about a page on the side that acts like a notepad? Wecouldtype and write whatever we wanted in it. That would make notes still there, but they wouldn't be automated.

I think if we wanted a notepad, we could use Notepad, and Ben wouldn't need to do a thing.

But summarizing the attributes and evidence for each character on the case status screen is just an efficient time-saving feature. It doesn't reduce the skill because the information is already available, it just avoids having to click 22 times for 11 suspects.

But being organized in your notes is where it's significant

I agree with ctown28. But gosens also has a point. And then there is the case file, all the information is there, but it takes a lot of clicking to get to it, that could be easier I guess. But what would realy make taking notes easier without changing the need to take them, is if new suspects would just be added to the bottom of the list.

I use notepad to insert suspects in the same order as the list.

BTW, there seems to have been some new code re the back button - now it takes new information into account (e.g. if you check someone's alibi and press back, the option to check their alibi isn't there any more).

I'm going to agree with ctown on this one. I like the info the way it is. It's a challenge now, and part of the fun is travelling around, I think.

I have another idea. Why not include, next to alibi, hall of recs. info. Like: Bartender(Fake, Court for Robbery)
