Is the research skill only used for answering questions about mysteries from faction bosses?
or does the skill actually aid you in a case..
(i want to know this to see if it is worth buying, because i wouldnt need it for the mystery questions)

Its one of the bests skills in the game.
There is no skill that helps you find the answers to little jobs. Just Google ;)

Oh, come on Reda, Wikipedia is much better than that filthy google (so what if I have a google account, that only means I'm a hypocrite and hypocrites rock).
