Not really. You could sell the items you recieve in return for doing favours. If you were subscribed, you could travel, and go to Shanghai for the horse races--a little gambling, if that's your inclination.

Favors give great items that you can sell for good cash - otherwise, no.

And if you are in an agency and winning a hunt your agency wins some cash. But its probably less than what you paid to open it and travel all over in order to solve it.
