How an agency works can vary from agency to agency.

Some are more for social gathering and roleplaying. Some take a more active role in hunting and doing lots of cases.

Most agencies post on the recruiting board for openings. But if you see an agency in the listing you should feel free to ask the detectives in the agency what they like or do not like about thier agency.

Being in an agency will typically give you:
access to the equipment locker
access to case files to store cases and get help with them
message boards to help each other out and to roleplay on

As has been said before joining an agency is one of the best perks about being subscribed.

Personally, I dont see the point of being subbed, but not in an agency. Being in an agency basically gives you all the contacts that everyone in your agnecy has. YOu also get to participate in hunts, which is fun...
You're already subbed, join an agency!! You will wonder why you waited so long... :)

ya Nehemiah, there is a rent thing, but I promise you, if you take full advantage of being in an agency, you will quickly have so much loot on hand you won't care about it. I might be wrong but I think some agencies will take care of the daily rent for you too as a benefit of joining, but don't quote me on that! Check out the agency board, and if /when you join one, let other members know you are new to it...I bet they will help you out. My first day, people swung more than 15 000 exp points and a bunch of skill points my way.
