anyone have gotten pick pocketing?

Hi , I am very tough. Is pick pocketing useful? Also I am unsubscribed, does it make a difference? ty

Pick pocketing is not useful for beginning detectives in my opinion.

You are much better off spending the skill points on Research, your Interview skills, etc. Those will help you solve the case in the first place to collect your rewards.

Pick Pockets only gives you a return when your client is the guilty person. As you move up in difficulty the chances of that happening grow less and less because the number of suspects grows.

I have all the skills but three. Advanced Rule Bending, Advanced Sweet Talking and Pick Pockets. I plan on getting pick pocketing last just to say I have all the skills.

There is a certain satisfaction in getting your money back. But R. Anstett has it just right - get the basic skills first, save the faction skills for later. They are more for fun than really useful.
I except Underworld Connections which is very useful when you have reached the highest level cases - but still a luxury for beginning agents.
