Not enough suspects?

I'm currently doing a hard case and I have two suspects: a client and another guy. My client gave me an alibi, but when I asked the other guy if he has anyone with a motive to commit the crime, he clammed up. Interrogation didn't help. Also, that was the first question I asked him. What do you think I should do?

honestly I would just quit the case. It gets too expensive to go around and ask the townies if they know anything cause then they clam up to and you loose the whole alibi check. So to be on the safe side I would just quit.

The other point to make is that it is generally considered a better strategy to ask for Motive first, then for Alibi. That will help stop cases from dead ending on you so quickly.
