1-It's there a way to get along with all the factions (cosa nostra...) in the city, or is this impossible?If it is, as I presume, impossible, which one is the best one?

In theory you can get in good with multiple factions at once. It is rare that anyone does the work of balancing to keep in good with more than two or three at a time.
As to which is the best, I personally think you should stay at the 10+ level with at least one when you are subscribed. Other than that it has no bearing until you are a much more experienced detective and want to learn the special skills.
Requirements to join an agency: Be Subcribed.
Benefits of an agency in a word lots. ;) You get help solving cases, you get case files to store cases, you can participate in hunts, you get a chance to roleplay and have a lot of fun with the other detectives in your agency.
You should subscribe for the same reasons. Joining an agency, the ability to do Featured Mysteries, 10 cases per day, travel, hunting etc. all good things.
Plus by subscribing you are helping to support the game overall and things can only get better.
