Don't fear my correct way of write, because I am brasilian. I don't know much of this game, but I like it. Until now, I solved two cases. If you have any good instructions for me, I will accept.

Hi, Colton! Welcome to your new addiction! *grin* Just about everything you could think to ask is answered on the Newbies Questions board. If you have looked and don't find it, please feel free to ask questions there. Good luck and have fun!

Welcome!!! I'm pretty new too, so you're not alone. Here's a tip: It might be a good idea to get the Research skill quickly, but regular evidence skills are more important if you don't have them. If you do, research is more important.

Oh, and don't spend your money as soon as you get it.
Quitting a case is better than getting a false accusation. If you get three false accusations your detectives liscense will be revoked. Quitting a case has no penalty.
Always try to squeeze as many questions as possible from suspects and witnesses in the most efficient way.
On most days there are certain extra cases you can do called "favors". These cases can win you items and don't add to your case count. The shop-owners around town give them. If you get lucky, the preson you get the favor for may not ever clam up for you in the future. This is called a "contact".

I will try to find some contacts, Horace.
