I am just sitting here bored and wondered what everyones profession is.

Since its my thread I will go first.........

I am a U.S. Marine, my job in the Marines is Infantry and I really do enjoy it. I have been in for almost eight years but I'm going to get out soon and go into Law enforcement. I have always wanted to be a cop preferably a homicide detective cause I really like to put clues together to come up with a final solution.... Thats probably why Sleuth is so much fun for me. I have traveled to a few different countries like- Japan, Spain, Germany, Egypt, Africa, Kuwait, and yes Iraq. I would really like to travel to some other countries like the UK and Ireland and Scottland.

What about you?

I was a law student once. Somehow, it lead to me becoming a lawyer.

After law school, a few of my fellow unemployable law student friends opened up a criminal defense firm and I did that for several years. Then we started to make money and I decided to run-off to China and teach English for a couple years.

I still haven't come to terms that now I work on the side of the police (even as merely an internet detective). I atone by quitting cases often to let guilty suspects go free.

haha Logan...I completely understand your qualms. My solution was to get a big blanket and write on it in big letters and indelible ink: "JUSTICE IS BLIND, BABY".

I now wrap myself in it whenever I log on. You can borrow it if you want.

Back to topic...I'm a grad student in sociology and education, which means that for money I do some teaching, some editing, some contract research when I can get it and I have some funding to do my own work. This contrasts sharply with my fantasy life in which I own and cook at a cool neighborhood restaurant that serves slightly-tweaked takes on your favourite classic dishes without obnoxious food-cult pretense.

Administrative Assistant to the Director of a Counseling Agency. And Sleuth addict. :) (they're wanting to prescribe electro-shock therapy)
