How long does it take to solve a case?

How long does it ushally take to solve a case? just to know where im standing right now :)

Solving a case should take as long as you feel it needs to take.

You might get lucky and solve it right away if you find a suspect who has no alibi and the PE matches on the first question.

Or you might have to ask 13 suspects every question you can unti they all clam up and every townie has taken a bribe.

Move at the pace you feel is right for you, as you get more experience they will start to go faster and faster.

On the average I would say about 15 minutes. But, it depends on the case. Some can take as little as 5 or as much as 1/2 hour while you pour over your notes to see what you missed. *grin* It also depends on how many people are jostling your elbow trying to demand your time while you're working on that case.
