There seem to more dectectives logging on , and most of them are fairly new. Last time, there will only be around 10 to 3o dectectives logging on at the same time. But now there can be over 60 people! Why is that so?

Yes, Sleuth does advertise. I know Ben uses Google Adwords as well as banner exchanges.

Yes, we've done a banner exchange with the Nancy Drew game site. It may be partially responsible for the increase of traffic.

It may also be responsible for the disproportionate amount of new females.

It seems all us via-Nancys have chosen the same avatar as well. A mass migration of teenish girls, lucky you.

Sleuth has always had a much better ratio of male to female players than most online games.
Perhaps it is because of the community aspects of the game? or that they like the logic puzzle aspects of this game.

I think the mystery genre itself is pretty universal. My grandmother is a lifelong fan of mystery novels while the seven year old boy I babysit loves detective movies. The logic aspect too is probably appealing to anyone who is sick of the simplistic shoot 'em up reflex type games we seem to come across so often.

I found Sleuth through the Her Interactive website.
