Well, maybe not power. You have to be a pretty serious person when you have a lot of power. To be honest, it really looks like a lot of responsibility.
And fame can be pretty annoying... what with all the fans and paparazzi and such things.
But we do want money. At least some money. Enough to pay for a good sandwich at the deli down the street every once and awhile. They're a little more expensive then they should be, but the roast beef on rye is just spectacular.
So, if you want to join a serious detective agency bent on world domination- you have plenty of choices out there.
