i don't think it is. 'coz i brought it once but it didn't help much. it would be better to have thread or hair analysis skill. it will really help you. it has been my strategy.
But you will earn better gear from your favor cases, and saving your money for bribes and in case you need to talk to Shady is a better option for most newer detectives.
