I second this idea. I love the post history, but sometimes, even when I am looking for a post *I* wrote it is sooooo hard to find.

When I first started out and had a question, I checked the "Welcome Newbies" post but it wasn't specific enough for me. I then tried clicking through all of the listings in the Newbie section to see if I could find a post heading that had anything to do with what I was trying to find out. It was after about 10 pages of that when I finally decided to post the question. A searchable FAQ would be great but I know it would be time consuming to create or possibly pricey to purchase.

Another suggestion I have is to add a second level of "Help" that delves deeper into the details to keep certain things from being revealed to people who would rather discover them on their own. The "Welcome Newbies" post comes to mind. Right up front it warns the user of spoilers.

Or, what about having a topic related Help page? Sort of like the "Welcome Newbies" post but with hyperlinks to the sections: Factions, Agencies, Skills, Subscribing(!), etc. That, at least, doesn't take too much time. You just have to collect the info and put together a Web page. Gee, that's something even I could do!

OK, I'm offering. If the powers that be think this is a good idea and want help with collecting this info and putting together a simple Web page, I would be happy to help with either or both tasks. Just send me a PM.

*stumbles back in after recovering from that fifth of scotch*

To clarify: the second level of help could have that hyperlink thing I was talking about. You know, just like the current help page but just go deeper.
