I am not quite a newbie anymore but was just wondering when is it safe to move up to say really hard or really really hard cases? I feel like the intermediate cases are fairly easy to solve now and the hard ones arent really a challange as long as no one clams up on me.
And one other thing is it just me or are the cases in london harder than the ones in New York? Not much but just alittle........Maybe because I dont have any contacts there yet....hmmmm well maybe I answered my own second question. Thanks in advance.

Yes not having contacts does make the cases harder, which is one reason to keep your subscription up to date. Traveling to the various cities will build up your 8 contacts faster.
You should jump up in level and try at least one case every time a new level is available for you. See how it feels, it should be a challenge but still fun and able to accomplish most of the time.
If you run into a lot of problems, drop down a level and do more there.
I did a TON of incredible cases, never really did many RH or SH cases. I liked the reward/effort ratio there.

the hardest one I've solved was "really really hard"... but it was pure luck...
Twice I tried the "Incredibly hard" case, but couldn't solve it. You can barely talk with the suspects and everyone are against you ... wahhh...

I DID IT I SOLVED A INCREDIBLY HARD CASE ON THE FIRST TRY!!!!!!
sorry I am very excited cause it was so cool to get that much expirence....

To get a contact do you have to subscribe or do you just have to do a favor?

As you do favors for the townies you have a chance to earn them as a favor. It does not matter if you are subscribed or not.
