I thought this would be a good thread to just make new friends. In the game atmosphere of course.

If you come in and see me at a table pull up a chair theres always room for one more. And bring some cigarettes.

Makensie looks at Celeste, and says, "Sure ,come on,have yourself a sit." and pats an empty chair.

She takes the shot Charlie got them, and drinks it quickly. "Well, that was pretty good", she says.

Makensie looks at Mark, and says, "Well Charlie didnt mean like KIDS kids. Furry animals, and ummmm, unique plant looking kids" Charlie chuckles, and says, "Sorry Mark, I meant to be more specific" and winks at Makensie.

Mark, who was beginning to feel pretty good, looked totally confused, and just said, "OK"

Makensie looks at Charlie and says, "Your boss is going to fire you if u dont get to workin" Charlie ,who was slurring a bit, says, "I know, I really need to ......hey, he is yourboss too, lady" Makensie laughs out loud, and says, "I know"

They all were chatting about whatever people who are half drunk chat about, awaiting more visitors.

A light bulb came on in Makensie's brain, which was half drowned with JD, and says, "Ummm Charlie! How can u eat donuts with alcohol?" She scrunches her nose, and shakes her head at the thought of sweets and alcohol mixed together. Charlie says, "Its not like it was a fresh donut anyways" Makensie lightly smacks his arm, as he laughs.

She holds her empty glass up, and says, "Cheers to all my friends" Everyone takes a drink, and she begins to but realized its empty. She doesnt need anymore anyways. *sigh*

*Brings his flask out of his coat*
*takes a drink and realizes its empty*

"Gah!"
"Im out of my good water. Well *Yells* Waitress we need some more Jack please!!"

*Looks at everyone*

*Points at the two new commers*

"You two arnt drunk enough yet...we are going to change that quickly...Hope you can hold your liqure."

*Laughs*

Charlie looks at everyone at the table and says "Well, let me be the first to introduce myself to our new friends..... I am Charlie Cain and this stunning beauty * points and winks at Mak * is my fellow detective Makensie Brewer. The drunk guy there is Mark Stone, thats Crunchpatty *points to Crunchpatty* and I seem to have forgotten everyone else's name in my attempt to get alittle drunk tonight. But come and enjoy our friendship."

Mak slaps Charlie's arm and laughs aloud at his attempt to be formal. Then she says aloud " dont mind him he likes to flirt with any woman around."

Charlie sets back down rubbing his arm and smiles like a little kid who got caught doing something he wasnt sopposed to do.

The waitress arrives with the drinks and tells Mark in a whisper " The lady at the bar has bought you a drink what would you like?"

" How about a shot of Bourbon miss." Mark replies with a very noticable slur.

"Are you gonna be alright to get home Mark?" Asks Celeste

"Why I aint that drunk yet, I can manage * as he trys to stand and fails * ok maybe I will slow down abit." Mark replies with a grin.

Everyone gets a good laugh and then they all go back to enjoying a good night of chatting and being with friends..... something that their line of work doesnt allow too much of.

After about an hour of animated chatting, the door opens, revealing a shocked looking Shady. He collapses for what seems like no reason in the middle of the doorway.

Makensie, who was slightly intoxicated, sees Shady fall, and says, "Alright!! Someone finally killed the little sap sucker" and she slaps the table in emphasis. She looks at Charlie, leans over, almost falling into him, and says, "Look.....there.....*points behind her without looking* ....."Shady....on ground....isnt that a HOOT?" and she begins laughing.

Charlie looks at her, smiling, almost laughing, and says, "Hoot? Someone falls to the ground, and u think its a hoot. Mak, you have been to one too many crime scenes" He looks at Mark, shrugs his shoulders, while taking a drink and says, "Gotta love her"

Makensie looks at everyone, feeling quite dazed and gets the fit of giggles. Mark says, intoxicated himself, says, "She needs another drink to keep her straight" Charlie groans, and says, "She needs coffee" Makensie winks at Charlie, and says, "Nothing like a wide awake drunk"

Then, Shady stands up, and looks at all of us funny, but keeps walking to the back of the bar.

Charlie and Mark look at each other, wondering what his problem was, and Makensie says, "Oh who cares? I'm off duty. " and attempts to get up to go to the bathroom.

She shrugs, sighs, and looks at Charlie, saying, "Well...maybe I will wait just a minute"

Celeste is laughing at something Mark was saying, and everyone was having a fun time, enjoying a crime free night.

Shady sat in the back, just watching the detectives.

Lady Emerald Devon walks in and bends over to pick something up.

"Oi, Makkers! I think you might need this. Though, if you drive home you might lose it again"

She orders a round for everyone nad sits at the bar.

"We need music, do you think Big Lucy will play here tonight?"

"I dont know maybe we will get lucky and she will." Says Charlie smiling.

Mak finally gets her bearings and heads off the the restroom*stumbling alittle of course*

Mark starts to tell a funny story about one of his first cases "So there I was in this chinese fish market trying to get a confession out of Qui Chang when my missing person comes up and say I been out of town on a family emergecy..... and I didnt even get paid." We all start laughing but it kinda hits home for some of us.

Mak comes back sets down and orders a round for all of us and we continue to enjoy the evening.

As Mark Looks over to Shady he notcies him wink at him.

Mark gets up and stumbles over to Shady and bends down to listen to what he has to say.

Charlie looks at Mak and says " I wonder what he is doing over there...What does Shady want with us at this hour in the night"

*WACK!!!*

Shady falls over and Mark returns to the table rubbing his hand.

"That greeds scum bag. He wanted to know if we had any money for him to pay off some of our 'Miss deads' that we have commited."

Mark rasis his hand and tell the waitress shot for the table.

"that should keep him occupied for a little while Haha! He won't be runing our night tonight." Mark says

They then continue to enjoy their night at the bar as a song starts to play in the back round from the band that came in, its ....

Charlie looks at his watch and asks "Mak the ball is going on you wanna head over?"
