Hi,

I already went to the Mayor and did his "little job". what else can I do to increase my standing with him and learn about hypnotism?

Doing the little job each day is the fastest way to increase.

Some cases will have a twist that will give you the possibility to go up or down with a political faction. But continously doing the little jobs is the fastest way up.

Just so you know you will need to be at 25 faction points for them to teach you, but you still need the skill points to spend on the skill.

I was saying you need to spend the skill points on this as well, and being a young detective there are much better things to spend those points on. Such as your Smart and Tough skills. Earn all of those first before working on the faction skills.
