I notice some players have huuuuge numbers of experience points - like, hundreds of thousands of experience points.

How does that happen? Are you really playing around the clock? Do you have a life? Or do later cases give you masses of points?

I've currently only attempted cases up to 'Really Really Hard' level.

Actually you didn't need to know all of the above, except the fact that belonging to an agency will help you gain your experience points at a fast pace. You have all the other agents in the agency to help you check your alibis or the crime scene evidence, therefore, they basically solve the case for you, once you've done the initial leg work or went through each suspects name and gathered all information, plus found out what their alibis are. Then when you post it on the board, the other agents holding the contacts needed, will check the bloody footprints, hairs, notes, or cloth.

When I first joined I had only 3500 experience points, plus within two weeks, I went from solving the hard cases to the Ridiciously Hard Cases, or Level. My experience points have continually climbed daily, and thus I have went from being unknown to placing third place as one of the Grand Master Agents here. By joining you get to solve 8 cases daily, plus at least two favors which are give after every three cases. Sometimes, other agents will give away extras, that you can take and solve, if you want to. Then if you win favors that are the KEYS TO THE TREASURE HUNTS, then you win big experience points there, plus a BIG REWARD, depending on the hunt. I also won a trophy the first week, or two after joining Chicago. I have had a blast ever since I've joined, and I would strongly suggest and actually recommend that you join one, or start your own.

The cost of subscribing is unexpensive and very much worth it. It only cost you $8 for three months, & I will say one thing more...once you subscribe that if you're not careful, you will become addicted to these cases.....I know I have...lol. Within an agency you find life long friends, and it's a wonderful feeling to share with others all over the world.

Correction: Fonzie, you are correct, I wasn't sure if it was 4 or 5, and I didn't leave to go look in order to make sure if I was 1 point off, or not, but anyway thanks for the correction on the point. Also, I meant to say inexpensive, instead of unexpensive which isn't proper grammar. Like Sunny has said, the message board is not an exam for entering college..for crying out loud. Besides,if I don't type my message extremely fast, I'm kicked off Sleuth, and I have to resign in and type my message all over again, so please overlook any mistakes...Thanks! One more word about the charm points, and equipment, and clothing I stated above, I have never had to change clothes since I obtained these particular items, along with the skills I've purchased, and I've won all cases since I am using them. If your arch type is charming, I recommend getting all items to equal 18 plus in charm points, plus get with your buy skills buy the sweet talking, adv. sweet talking, flirting. The rule bending, and advanced rule bending works like a charm with the merchants when the clam up on me immediately. I can use the rule bending/adv. rule bending, and they will give me the answer, because I also have the charm skills to back it up. I have Judge of Character, but I no longer use it at all, since I have these. My charm works on the tough ones, as well as the nice people. You may find a couple of people that will clam up completely, but you can work around that. Oh yes, I strongly suggest getting RESEARCH, because that will eliminate one fake alibi/suspect from your list of fakes, which really helps. Then what really helps is when one of the suspects with a fake alibi is killed off..oh yes, I love that. But it isn't always someone with a fake alibi that's killed. OK, I'm sure there is plenty of more to be said that I've left out. I didn't mean to hog the message board here.

To make the statement more clear> Plus, along with your 18 + in charm points (equipment/clothes), you need to purchase with your buy skills, flirting, sweet talking, and all the above-named skills. At this time I have purchased everything there is available to buy, other than, changing my standing with the Dies, & building my faction with La Cosa Nostra, so I can purchase "Safe Cracking", which helps on the treasure hunts, then later I will change my standing over to "The Order of Socrates", so I can purchase what's available from them, then after that, there will not be anything more for me to purchase, unless Ben adds something new. Ben adds something else. Oh, yes, I recommend you get the skill of "Pick Pocket," which is purchsed from the Dies, and of course you have to have good standing with them. By having this skill you never lose money when it's your client that is guilty, which is really cool, and for sure if you should be low on funds...lol. Ok, enough from me already. I hope this helps someone. "HAPPY SLEUTHING EVERYONE"

DaRu you said that you are 3rd. Infact you are 3rd of the ACTIVE agents, but of ALL the agents RETIRED AND ACTIVE, you are only 5th. Just a note.

I only stated that I am 3RD IN THE MASTERS OF DETECTIVES, DID NOT STATE I'M 3RD OVER-ALL. I typed Grand Master Detectives.....I just didn't add the over 100 days old. Nor did I include the 5th place, or 8th place weekly. I was just making a point, how quickly one can rise to the top when being in an agency. I wasn't plugging me, in fact, I am very humbled by it all. I never dreamed I could ever make it that far period, and of course I am proud, but not a boastful person at all, so I apoligize if you or anyone takes it that way. I couldn't have done it without the help of all the other agents. I was just trying to stress the fact of how much it helps to join one.

In fact, if you look back up at the 4th paragraph I typed above, I clearly stated that I AM IN 3RD PLACE IN THE GRAND MASTER DETECTIVES. However, I had forgotten about my fifth postion over-all, which would have been better to mention, so thank you for mentioning it for me. To all that reads my messages, please know that my intentions was not to boast, or sound like I'm bragging. The only reason I shared this was to let people know that a nobody like me can achieves the same points if I can. I couldn't have done it without the help of all the agents, and of course the knowledge or insight I have of this game, is why. I apoligize if I sound like I'm bragging, because I am not. I just want to encourage everyone to subscribe and join an agency, for that's where the action is at and fun begins.
