Verify Alibi
smart skill 12 points
This skill allows the detective to go back and re-question a suspect who has previously lied about their alibi. If successful the suspect will reveal their own motive for the crime.
eg. 'Yes I did lie but I was scared, everyone knows how much I hated the victim'
Game Mechanics:
Used one per case
Success based on smart score
Possible outcomes include:
reveal motive
give a new real alibi
give a new false alibi
clam - no further questions answered
This could be a new skill to assign that a new faction could teach.
Who knows I am 2 days old but I already know I don't like these false alibis going unchecked! Its just a thought. What do you guys think?

Thanks!
jstkdn, was that sarcasm? I have a hard time figuring out if other people are being sarcastic, and other people have a hard time figuring out if I'm being sarcastic.

I will not speak to her tone but I do know what she meant.
The idea is that you spend 50 skill points and get your detective out of retirement (stop shady from putting you out of buisness). It would require you to have a surpluss of 50 unspent skill points available when you committ your third false accusation.
It is not a current ability.

No it is not sarcasm Horace. I just hadn't thought of a name for that skill yet. As you can say.....I am not very imaginative in making up names either.
