Alibis

Forgive me if this has been addressed before, but I scrolled through a few pages, and since there is no search function, here goes:

If two suspects give the same alibi, eg "Butcher" does it ever occur that the butcher will vouch for both? Or is it always such that once an alibi is corroborated by one of the 10 "witnesses", then one can always assume that the other person claiming the alibi is lying?

I hope I am making myself clear. Basically: can two suspects have the same (verified) alibi? The reason that I ask, is that in the 15-16 games that I have played, so far no source has been a true alibi for more than one suspect.

Actually, I'm working on a case right now where two suspects both have the same exact alibi, and they're both verified alibis.

Yes, even if two, three, four, whatever were at the same townie, it is still a valid alibi. Townies dont lie.

I just had an "easy" case...

6 suspects
3 at the silk merchant
2 unknown threads

No matter what your level there will always be a wrench to make it interesting!
