I'm having this problem on a case. Do I PM somebody, or... what??? (like I've said before, total newbie who desperately needs help!)

Never mind. I had to quit the case because I totally messed up and there was no way I'd be able to solve it. Sorry guys. :(

Talianna, if you give specifics on what kind of help you need, someone will definitely help you. You can PM someone but its best to leave your question here on the newbie board :o)

Thanks!

Uhh, another question:
if a "prime" suspect (meaning, he/she doesn't have a verified alibi or just doesn't have one at all) and one of the hints is that they think they know who the murderer is, can you cross them out from your suspect list right away?

Also, what should you do if you have two "prime" suspects, and the only piece of evidence you have (like a bloody footprint) doesn't match with them and no one thinks that they commited the crime!?

The only way to cross a suspect off list with a none/fake alibi is to use Research.(after u buy the skill, which I highly recommend) That eliminates a none/fake from your list.

If there is no matching evidence, or witness evidence against someone with a none/fake alibi,do not accuse. The guilty one with an unvalid alibi WILL have some sort of evidence against him, whether it be PE or WE. :)

Hope u figured it out ok :)

If a suspect says he suspects someone else, you still cant cross him off. Wouldnt you lie if you just commited a murder? :)

Also don't forget, that until you gain the skills "Hair Analysis" and "Thread Analysis" you won't find those clues at the crime scene. So at the crime scene you might find a footprint, which turns out to belong to someone with a true alibi, but you fail to find the hair that actually belongs to the guilty party. This means the only way to find them is with witness evidence against them.

I know that for me 6 times out of 10 my suspect that has a fake/none alibi that says they know who did it is the guilty party but I also still need to verify that I dont just guess I use what I have at my disposal to solve the crime. Once you get some more skills you will do just fine. I myself am still a newbie but if you ever need any help PM me and I will see what I can do. good luck and happy hunting.....
