Hey everyone, I was thinking, there are a lot of people out there who are looking for the answers to the little job questions. Some of them are easy to find but others I can never locate no matter how much I search.

My suggestion - I'm more than happy to create a website that compiles all the answers, but will need help from everyone to email me their questions and answers so they can be added each day. I'll start it now with a list of books by the different authors that I've encountered and remember.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

P.S. So sorry admin if this is against the rules. Slap my wrist and I'll drop the idea.

That is a good idea, but actually, it is more fun to research them yourself, and everyone can always make their own notes on. All they have to do when they do little jobs, is go to wordpad or whatever they use, and type the questions down, along with the answers...and just add to it as you do come along new questions. :)

Do you get the same questions over again?

and "fun" is a relative term lol. I do not see it so much as fun, more like terribly annoying and time consuming, would rather just know the answer and move on. I'm not a big mystery read though.

Well that maybe thats what it is ;) Researching is half the fun in Sleuth. The way I always put it when people havetalked about little jobs is, noone gave answers to me, I had to look them up, and at first ,it was annoying BUT the more I did it, the more fun it became. So, I never give the answers to anyone, atleast not on the public message boards, or a website. If you want to PM someone and ask what the answer is, someone may tell you but noone has ever given the answers out in the open. That I can see anyways :)

Once in awhile you will get a repeated question, yes :)

It is a nice thought though, and maybe it is just ME, that thinks everyone should research it themselves. :) Unless you are in an agency, and you want to list the questions and answers on the agency message board. Thats always neat too. When I was Director of an agency, thats what we did. :)

Chelsea posted this link in another thread in the Newbie section, it does have quite a few of the questions for you.

Of course I just research each question as they come up if I don't know it off the top of my head rather than use a cheat sheet. Not very fun that way to my way of thinking.

I suggested taking notes for those who are more new ;) It is very helpful to them to do it that way. Searching is fun but until u know most of the answers by heart, I wouldnt want to keep looking up a repeat question over and over, so write it down for later :o) Ofcourse thats me.....lol :) Luckily I dont have to worry about it anymore *grins*

There are around 150 or so questions (Just a FYI).

I believe compiling your own list is a great idea. I have a list of all the answers, but posting all of them publically would, in a way, ruin them.

And since they return, you can always decide to guess. If you get it wrong you'll see the right answer and remember it for next time.
